About the Authors

Nathaniel Le graduated with a B.A. in History from the University of Texas, Arlington.  Following college, Nathaniel enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was recognized for his actions in Afghanistan.  Before deciding to pursue a career in law, Nathaniel worked professionally in the telecommunications industry. Nathaniel has served as the President of Asian Pacific American Law Student Association at Barry University and is the Vice-Justice for Phi Alpha Delta’s Harlan Chapter. He is currently a 3L at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.



Brandon Salter graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Law and Criminology from the University of Florida. He is one of only three 1L’s awarded the Dean’s Full Scholarship Award, which is Barry Law’s highest scholarship. He is currently a 3L at Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. His academic excellence has continued into law school and beyond, as he is currently a legal intern at a prominent mass tort firm in Orlando. In addition to academia, Brandon is a Single Engine Land pilot and member of the Federal Aviation Administration. 



Kali Stauss graduated with a B.A. in English from the University of Florida. She is currently a 3L Law Student at Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. She is a graduate from the University of Florida, Miss Gainesville USA 2012, former public-school educator, and certified athletic coach. Kali is heavily involved in community service, a member of the Junior League of Greater Orlando, and a member of the Coastal Conservation Association of Florida. She is an avid outdoorsman, angler, diver, and loves taking advantage of the Florida Sunshine at any chance possible.
